Lord Krishna explains that one cannot put a clenched fist in the Ganga river to drink the holy water in the above lines. One must make a cup of the hand to bring the water to the mouth and taste the sacred Ganga water.
Similarly, to understand the true secret of life and understand the proper way of living life, one must decide if we have a clenched fist of ego or an open cup of dedication.
